Surpassing the limitations of system restore with hard drive recovery software

Microsoft Windows has an excellent feature known as system restore. It allows one to take the settings of their computer back in time to an earlier prescribed date. For many circumstances such as minor virus infections and accidental deletion of desktop applications system restore is a fabulous tool. What is lacking in system restore is the ability to restore files inside of folders. An example of this would be all of the files in your Windows recycle bin. System restore will not magically place these back after you have emptied the bin.

For this problem you must use hard drive recovery software. A powerful program for hard drive recovery will allow you to reverse the process of file deletion or if you prefer undelete that file. The better grade of hard drive recovery tools such as those made by Remo Software will actually allow you to restore files even after you have reformatted your computer’s internal hard drive or any other digital storage media connected to your computer.
