Crashed hard drive recovery is a two step process. Oddly enough this process must be done in reverse order of what one would think best. For this reason you must use a robust data recovery program that will open your computer’s hard drive and allow you to copy from it all of the stored files. Then you may reload your operating system which in turn will reactivate access to your computer’s hard disk drive.
